Return to school Wednesday 5th September

We hope your child has enjoyed a restful summer holiday and is looking forward to making the transition from their Primary School to Collegiate High School.   School starts on Wednesday 5th September, students should aim to arrive at Collegiate by 8:30am and go to the main hall where the year 7 team will be to welcome them.  If there are any problems please contact the school on 01253 300460 or by text 07908740945.

“Twas the Night Before School Started”

‘Twas the night before school started,
When all through the town,
The parents were cheering…
It was a riotous sound.

By eight the kids were washed,
And tucked into bed,
When memories of homework,
Filled them with dread.

New pencils, new folders,
New notebooks, too,
New teachers, new friends-
Their anxiety grew.

The parents just giggled,
When they learned of this fright,
And shouted, “Upstairs!
GO TO BED! IT’S A SCHOOL NIGHT!”
